Looking Back on Cover the Uninsured Week

    • June 30, 2011

After eight years, the Cover the Uninsured Week campaign has come to a close.

Since 2003, Cover the Uninsured has inspired tens of thousands of events, helped enroll millions of children and adults in available coverage programs, and elevated the issue of the uninsured on the national agenda. Although Cover the Uninsured is coming to a close, the work in which we've all engaged these last eight years is not ending. As you know, successful implementation of the law requires smart policy, public engagement and innovative thinking. We are excited to be a part of this next major chapter and renew our commitment to ensuring our country follows through on the goal of ensuring that everyone in America has affordable and stable health coverage.

We invite you to follow the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s continuing work on Coverage, as well as our other program areas, by signing up for the Foundation’s content alerts.

Thank you again for your years of hard work and dedication.
