Digital signage provider Wavetec has announced the launch of the second generation of its Donatello digital signage player. Wavetec designed the player with a new chipset to enable 4K content, according to the press release.
The player is designed with a Quad Core 2.0 GHz processor and 8GB of internal storage. Users can also add an additional 16GB of external storage to play more content.
The Donatello media suite powers the player and enables users to remotely manage content via a CMS. Users can use the dashboard view to monitor and manage content for all media players, according to the announcement.
"We are very excited to further augment our Donatello product line with this state of the art signage player. It is satisfying to see that our product innovations are helping our clients and businesses grow more efficiently and economically," said Tobias Bessone, deputy CEO of Wavetec.
